
Dr. Tina Lepage, founder of Lepage Associates Solution-Based Psychological & Psychiatric Services, holds a Doctorate and Master’s in clinical psychology, a B.S. in child development and family relationships, and a Master’s in management. Dr. Lepage is a specialist in relationships, families, conflict resolution, and evaluations. She has been said to “demonstrate an uncanny ability to find creative solutions that work well and are respected by all parties involved,” and judges have commented they wished all evaluations were as understandable and useful as hers. Dr. Lepage completed both her clinical master’s thesis and doctoral dissertation on parenting plans, determining the highest quality protocol for assessing child and family needs and then addressing those needs in potential parenting arrangements. At Lepage Associates she went on to develop a unique, tiered approach to parenting plan consults and custody evaluations to meet the information and cost needs of every family. Dr. Lepage is also an expert in coaching for Cooperative or Parallel Co-Parenting. She has extensive experience working with individuals, couples, parents, and children. Her combined experience in divorce issues, child development, parenting plans, and conflict resolution make her highly sought out by parents as they make decisions regarding co-parenting issues and parenting plans, or need someone to meet with their child. Her evaluation skills and ability to handle clinically complex cases make her sought out by others involved with the court as well.

Dr. Sampson has experience providing evaluation and psychotherapy to families involved with social services and the court system. She has conducted psychological evaluations with families deemed to be “high risk” by social services as a way to assist with planning for family support services and custody arrangements. She has also provided support and guidance to families through the custody process with particular attention to the emotional and behavioral difficulties that often arise in children during this process. Substance abuse and mental health disorders are often present in individuals involved with the court, and need attention for the person to be best able to navigate their legal situation. Dr. Sampson has worked in an outpatient community clinic providing evaluation and counseling to dually diagnosed individuals. A main part of her role at this clinic was to provide substance abuse and mental health screenings to clients to determine the most appropriate level of substance abuse and mental health treatment. In addition, Dr. Sampson provided ongoing therapy to adults struggling with alcohol or other substance abuse issues as well as depression, anxiety, psychotic disorders, and bipolar disorder.

Dr. Gina LaFrazza provides psychological and educational evaluations and has experience in evaluating a range of mental health disorders to include clinically complex cases. With experience working in a variety of settings, including inpatient hospital units, college counseling centers, and private practice, Dr. LaFrazza has evaluated individuals of all ages suffering from a wide array of mental health issues and has answered referral questions and made treatment recommendations for a variety of purposes. She has provided evaluations for psychosis, traumatic brain injury, trauma, depression, anxiety, mania, executive functioning deficits (i.e., difficulties with planning, organization, emotional control), and autism-spectrum disorders. Dr. LaFrazza is adept at identifying strengths and potential risk factors for each unique case and to this end believes it is important to provide specific and individually-tailored treatment recommendations.

Dr. Freeman has extensive experience conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations assessing emotional/personality functioning as well as cognition, intelligence, and memory which includes testing for AD/HD (‘ADD’) as well as for learning disorders. She is skilled at diagnostic interviewing with both children and adults, writing integrated assessments reports for all age groups, and conducting feedback sessions with clients to present the results of the testing. She has completed numerous emotional/personality test batteries for the purpose of diagnosis as well as treatment planning. She has experience assessing intelligence, memory, achievement, developmental issues, learning issues, and attentional problems with clients ranging in age from five to 89.
Dr. Freeman’s clinical experiences are diverse, as she continually seeks the new and the challenging. Many people involved with the court also experience mental health issues, and Dr. Freeman can provide therapy to address those concerns. She is experienced in individual, couples, family and group therapy for children, adolescents, and adults of all ages. She has conducted therapy with clients experiencing all forms of anxiety (general, specific, OCD, PTSD), stress, depression, bi-polar, adjustment issues, relationship problems, social skills difficulties, childhood or adult trauma and/or abuse, bereavement, self-esteem issues, family of origin difficulties, identity development, career issues, eating problems, and many other life difficulties. She has done a lot of work with Adult Children of Alcoholics and survivors of child or adult abuse, both sexual and physical. At times those involved with the courts need assistance getting back on track with gainful employment. Dr. Freeman also has experience in career counseling and using various vocational assessment tools, working with individuals to help them explore their career interests, skills, and abilities as well as work values, with the goal of finding a career that is a good fit for them.
Being involved with the court is stressful, and Dr. Freeman’s clients often report they enjoy her non-judgmental nature, warmth, and genuineness as it creates a comfortable atmosphere for psychological evaluations or therapy.

Dr. Molly Parks provides an expertise in child trauma evaluation and assessment. She has focused in both her training and experience in trauma in childhood, and treats and provides assessment for both children and adults who have worked through difficult early traumatic experiences. Dr. Parks has conducted formal forensic trauma evaluations for children and families through the Department of Mental Health, and has an extensive history of working with families involved in the social service system. She is also experienced in working with domestic violence and divorce, and a specific interest in working with children coping with divorce.

Dr. Nicole Imbraguglio provides counseling and evaluation services to individuals of all ages, having worked with children from the age of three through adults into their 60s. She holds her Doctorate in clinical psychology with a minor in interpersonal dynamics, and is experienced in individual, couples, and group therapy, psychological and educational evaluations, and interventions with children. Her special interests include psychological and educational assessment for all ages, work with children and families, and treating trauma.
Dr. Imbraguglio has a special interest in working with children dealing with divorce or marital conflict in the family, and also works with their parents to help lessen conflict and minimize the impact of the divorce process on the child. In addition, many parents seek her out for her expertise in AD/HD and learning disorder (LD) assessment, and have found her friendly demeanor and natural connection with children to make her an excellent therapist for play therapy with children and talk therapy with teens. Her ability to empathize and problem-solve also make her a favorite among adult clients.

Dr. Savia is expert in identifying both strengths (social support, healthy self-image, and capacity for insight) and potential risk factors (substance abuse, compliance issues, and serious psychopathology) that may support or interfere with one’s life. These factors play an important role during any court process as they affect a person’s ability to manage emotions and think clearly. Dr. Savia provides psychological and behavioral interventions for depression and anxiety, including reactions to chronic illness, grief and loss, and other health concerns, including stress management and chronic pain. She is highly experienced in mindfulness–based interventions and has helped many of her clients cope more effectively through stressful times.

Dr. Rhonda Karg specializes in brief, solution-based counseling for adults and teens. In addition, she is an expert in motivational interviewing for health behaviors (exercise, healthy eating, sleep, etc.), all self-care areas which have an important impact on managing emotions and clear thinking during any court process. Dr. Karg provides psychological and behavioral interventions for depression and anxiety, including reactions to loss/life transitions, trauma, family conflicts, and health concerns. Her finely tuned skills in motivation make her highly sought out by people going through during difficult times. She also has a strong specialty in all addictive behaviors with an extensive background in treating substance abuse and dependence, and in reducing harmful use of alcohol, illicit drugs, tobacco, and prescription medications, to include providing an empirically-validated brief intervention found to reduce substance use. Her in-depth knowledge and experience in substance abuse assessment continues to be informed through her work as a national and international researcher of substance abuse assessment and treatment methods. Dr. Karg is an excellent resource if substance abuse, or other addictive behaviors such as gambling, pornography, Internet relationships, shopping/ spending, etc., have been issues that contributed to court involvement or relationship problems.

As one of our resident child psychologists, Dr. Colleen Hamilton joins our forensic cases in the capacity of child expert. She is able to speak in-depth about child development, child mental health issues and disorders, and how various external stressors impact a child's functioning. Examples of external stressors include such things as parent functioning, family dynamics, school environment, other relationships, and trauma to include such varied forms of trauma as terrorism exposure to child sexual abuse. Dr. Hamilton is an expert on childhood trauma, both in the areas of diagnosis and treatment of child and teen trauma. In addition to her role as a consultant/expert on child and teen issues, she also provides therapy for children and families involved with the courts (refer to her specific child bio and teen bio for additional information).
