Chris Tufts, ED.S.
Ms. Tufts provides psychological, educational, and autism spectrum evaluations for individuals across the lifespan. She has more than 20 years of experience diagnosing and working with attention-related concerns, including Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD), as well as specific learning disabilities and other learning differences.
She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of autism spectrum disorders and has extensive experience identifying learning and cognitive challenges related to learning disabilities, ADHD, traumatic brain injury, and other neurological factors. Her assessment work focuses on clarifying underlying concerns and providing meaningful guidance to support academic, behavioral, and emotional functioning.
In addition to evaluation services, Ms. Tufts has worked for over two decades with adolescents and families to improve learning and social-emotional outcomes. Using a structured, problem-solving approach, she seeks to understand the root causes of challenges while considering the broader systems impacting the individual.
Her work emphasizes strengthening coping skills, improving emotional regulation, increasing distress tolerance, and supporting acceptance of diagnoses and challenges. Ms. Tufts helps clients and families develop adaptive strategies that can be applied across settings and throughout life, fostering deeper self-understanding and more positive long-term outcomes.
