Samy Dallemand
Ms. Samy Dallemand provides individual therapy services to adults, adolescents, and children; she works with all presenting problems. Samy also enjoys supporting families and couples with communication, boundaries, parenting stress, and improving connection. Samy began her educational journey and career with a B.A. in Justice Studies and worked for several years with the FBI and at child, family and adult welfare organizations, developing critical skills in case management and care coordination. These experiences led to a desire to help promote well-being in people struggling with mental health issues. Samy is currently completing her Master of Social Work (MSW) and is a clinical intern at Lepage Associates. She is fluent in Haitian Creole, and speaks intermediate-level French.
Samy creates a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel respected, heard, and empowered. She collaborates with clients to set clear goals. She uses a strengths-based, person-centered approach while also incorporating evidence-informed skill-building strategies (such as coping skills practice, emotional regulation tools, and communication strategies). Samy is passionate about helping people to understand that they are not meant to walk through their struggles alone. She believes there is hope for everyone who seeks to find it, and that pursuing therapy is an excellent step in that journey. She seeks to empower and support all who take that step.
Samy supports clients navigating a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, and family conflict. She brings a warm, structured, and strengths-based approach, focused on helping clients build insight, coping skills, and confidence in daily life. Samy works with concerns such as stress management, anxiety, depression, trauma and adjustment concerns, self-esteem, grief/loss, relationship issues, family conflict, boundaries, and life transitions. She welcomes clients from diverse cultural backgrounds and is especially mindful of how identity, family systems, and life experiences can shape emotional well-being.
When not at work, Samy enjoys traveling, shopping, and spending quality time with her family. She also loves cooking and baking for family and friends, and values the sense of connection, care, and joy that comes from sharing meals and meaningful moments.
